RL Royalty’s predecessor, Garza-Romanos Consulting Services LLC, was founded in 2013 by Idalia Romanos. Since our founding, we have been assisting royalty owners with the management of their mineral interests. We specialize in royalty accounting and royalty audits of operators. To date we have performed over 50 royalty audits covering 16 different operators. We have also performed review procedures on royalty data from over 30 different operators.
We cater our services to each of our client’s needs based on their input. For certain clients, we perform detailed monthly review and analytics, while other clients only require ad hoc services when particular needs arise. We are flexible to our client’s needs and will assist on any project for which we have the requisite expertise.
IDALIA ROMANOS – Shareholder
Idalia is a Certified Public Accountant. She received a Bachelor of Business Administration with a major in Accounting from St. Mary’s University in San Antonio. She also holds a Master of Science in Accounting from the University of Texas at San Antonio. Idalia has a wide variety of experience in oil and gas from both the operator’s perspective and the royalty and surface owner’s perspective. She also has experience working as an auditor for a Big 4 accounting firm. She has a passion for oil and gas operations and for verifying that royalty and working interest partners are treated fairly and in accordance with contractual terms.
